Junior C# Developer

Job Specification

Peresys offers you an opportunity to learn the inner workings of the stock market - how it works, what traders actually do and the technical building blocks that holds it all together behind the scenes.

We explore concepts of multithreading, data persistence strategies, network communications, UI building, componentised development, design patterns and many other aspects of object oriented software development. A successful candidate would initially work on internal facing components, programs, architectures and environments – supporting the rest of the team.

We are currently seeking a junior developer (C#) to fulfil an internal role - who would also like to gain knowledge of real-time software development, architectures for composable software, Back-end API’s and Data management functions.

Key Responsibilities
Internal Application Development and Environments:

• Maintain existing code and develop new components using our internal frameworks in C#

• Maintain and develop code for the internal C# framework.  

• Maintain and develop internal components, applications and processes to support the development process

• Responsible for interaction with QA surrounding testing, deployment and build processes.

• Responsible for automating and maintaining development and testing environments.

• Interact with- and maintain version control projects and build machine setups.

• Develop Build Processes and release/install scripts.

Skills and Experience Required
Must have experience in: 

• C# and the .NET framework.

• Web and Websites

• Scripting language experience and understanding

• Technical understanding of Microsoft environments

• Good level of experience in SQL and Relational Databases, especially SQL Server

• Needs to be able to work within a team structure

• Ability to instruct and impart knowledge

NB: Must have an IT Degree or Diploma
