Basic Purpose and Objective of the Job |
|
The role will be responsible for the overall leadership & management of Analytics within allocated key clients and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality Analytic services that deliver strong client return on investment. The role will deliver against high growth revenue targets and take ownership and responsibility for driving new business development opportunities, managing strategic global, regional & local client relationships and the implementation of regional as well as local initiatives in pursuit of AC’s vision and core purpose.

Principal Accountabilities |
|
Strategic Client Consulting and Management. This includes: § Monitoring and anticipating market trends and activities and developing strategies and business plans that will contribute to profitable business growth and sustainable competitive advantage § Leadership & responsibility of expanding AC scope of influence within allocated clients across a wider range of AC products and with greater depth of involvement § Ensuring the successful implementation of all approved client & AC strategies and plans based on global and regional / sub-regional directions § Identifying and initiating activities designed to project the best possible AC image within the client and build AC positive image through active participation in client workshops / conferences / seminars / etc § Leveraging best demonstrated practices from other markets and bringing them into the local or Regional client context Ensuring adherence to the company policies on business conduct / ethics are being observed & ensure client service standards are implemented and enhanced for the allocated clients and within the respective client AC team Financial Management. This includes: § Achieving revenue targets with regards to AC services as well as other related business development objectives as structured for allocated clients each year § Monitoring the actual financial performance against budget / forecast and ensuring the implementation of appropriate actions that will lead to the achievement of the allocated clients AC financial objectives § Conducting quarterly business reviews § Ensuring that the AC client team achieves its financial objectives & delivers on commitments People Management § Establishing high standards of performance

Knowledge and Skills Required |
|
· Appropriate tertiary qualification – degree / diploma/Post graduate degree an advantage. · High cognitive, analytic & numeracy capability · Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications · Minimum of 6-7 years FMCG/ Retail experience with previously demonstrated success within this environment. · Experience working with and successfully developing strategic partner relationships & consultative skills. · Strong record of successfully working with a wide range of client styles, skills & personalities · Strong record of successfully delivering on sales/revenue targets · Demonstrated success in a demanding & fast pace business environment. · Understanding of statistical modeling · Effective presentation & writing skills · Ability to provide insights through integration and analysis across multiple sources
